SteadyRain Names Bryan Porter, Microsoft Certified Master, Chief Technology Officer
With dedication to the field of engineering and a deep love of Diet Coke, Bryan Porter comes to SteadyRain with the mindset of developing unique, functional client solutions that deliver results.
St. Louis, MO, July 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Award-winning, full service digital agency, SteadyRain, announces the addition of Bryan Porter, Microsoft Certified Master (MCM), as the Chief Technology Officer effective July 23, 2012. As the Chief Technology Officer, Bryan will be an integral part of the SteadyRain Development Team and will oversee application architecture, focus on product development and improve overall development processes.
Bryan Porter brings over 14 years of software development experience to SteadyRain’s Development Team. Bryan served as Software Plus’s Chief Software Architect for four (4) years. When Software Plus was acquired by SoftChoice, Bryan stayed with the company to help with the transition before joining Microsoft, where he helped the world’s largest customers implement deep and pervasive information management and collaboration solutions, as well as help design and build Microsoft’s SharePoint cloud platform.
“I’ve spent a great deal of time focused on the engineering of collaboration and content management systems as well as delivering services and solution at cloud-scale. Engineering is my absolute passion,” said Bryan Porter, Chief Technology Officer at SteadyRain. “I’m looking forward to taking my experience and passion for this field and helping SteadyRain clients achieve unique solutions that meet objectives. What I’ve found is that the good is separated from the insanely great by inventive thinking…and a lot of Diet Coke. At SteadyRain, I found an organization that has the inventive thinking covered; and I’ve got a 12 pack of Diet Coke chilling in the fridge.”
A Microsoft Certified Master for both SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010, Bryan is a world recognized leader in collaboration and web technologies, a member of the Microsoft Certified Master for SharePoint Instructor Team and frequent public speaker on topics ranging from custom development to organizational optimization. Bryan is one of only 29 individuals in the country that hold this level of certification.
In the beginning of Q3 2012, SteadyRain is proud to celebrate the accomplishment of not only being named a Gold DotNetNuke Partner but also gaining the expert knowledge of a Microsoft Certified Master, securing a level of professional recognition the digital agency has aimed to achieve.
”We are extremely excited to be adding an MCM and one of Microsoft’s top consultants to the team at SteadyRain,” said Thompson Knox, Executive Vice President at SteadyRain. “We continue to develop more complex and more valuable solutions for our clients and adding talent at this level ensures that we will be able to increase these facets of our solutions multi-fold over the next few years. Bryan has been a long time colleague and I will be proud to have him, once again, on my team. And he is more than welcome to all the Diet Coke we can provide!”
