Custom metal fabricator Craftsman Custom Metals (CCM), Chicago, IL, has acquired the light-gauge metal business of Mayville Products; Mayville Products also manufactured enclosures. The acquisition which includes tooling and equipment, will allow CCM to enhance it's presence in the medical, telecom, and areospace/military market segments.
Schiller Park, IL, July 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Craftsman Custom Metals (CCM), a leading Chicago based custom metal fabricator announced today it has completed its acquisition of the light gauge metal business of Mayville Products Corporation of Mayville, WI.
The acquisition of Mayville Products light gauge metal business is a strategic move consistent with CCM’s ambition to further strengthen existing market segments for its highly-engineered metal fabrication, machined component, and electronic sub-assembly business.
The addition Mayville Products light gauge metal business meshes perfectly with CCM’s existing high quality capabilities and enhances their significant existing presence in the medical, telecom and aerospace/military market segments.
