"Think! For Yourself" a New Youth Musical
Diversity Youth Theater Summer Ensemble will be performing a whimsical musical story that follows a colorful bunch of vendors at Marv's Marvelous Flea Market. The market struggles to stay open until one charismatic saleswoman puts the place back on the map. What price will the lively bunch pay to keep Marv's Marvelous Flea Market open? An adventurous story, filled with music, laughter and dance.
West Orange, NJ, July 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Diversity Youth Theater Summer Ensemble will be mounting a new musical titled "Think! For Yourself" at the Luna Stage in West Orange, NJ where the company resides. Participants of the new musical are all students ages 7-18 who have completed a 7 week intensive theater summer program offering classes and workshops in acting, music and dance.
The 2012 Summer Ensemble of DYT were a part of the creating process of the new musical "Think! For Yourself." Under the Leadership of company Director, Kathy D. Harrison, students implemented what they have learned over the summer to include: character building, dance basic technique, staging and movement, music development and production workshop.
On next weekend the Ensemble will be performing the new musical as part of the Culmination Experience. The entire community is buzzing about these talented bunch of kids. The production dates are Thursday-Saturday, August 2nd-4th @ 1pm on Thurs and Fri and @ 7pm on Fri and Sat. Tickets are $20 for Adults and $12 for Student/Child.
