Expat Ladies Charities Inc. and Imaginet Donate Computer for Senior Citizen's Center
Imaginet International Inc in cooperation with the Expats’ Ladies Charities, Inc. (ELCI), donated a personal computer to the Senior Citizen’s Association of Sinai in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.
Guadalupe Viejo, Philippines, July 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Imaginet International Inc, the leading systems integrator and managed network, hosting and content security provider in the Philippines, in cooperation with the Expats’ Ladies Charities, Inc. (ELCI), donated a personal computer to the Senior Citizen’s Association of Sinai in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental. It has been Imaginet’s long standing commitment to help far flung locations receive modern means of education and communication.
This was accomplished as part of ELCI’s project to rehabilitate the old barangay hall and turn it into a Senior Citizen’s Center. The project was initiated with the hope that soon, the old barangay hall buildings and even school buildings that have been left to waste will become usable again by transforming them into multipurpose halls, which in this case, into a senior citizen’s center.
“Imaginet has worked with ELCI in the past to sponsor and donate computers, skills, and modern means of communication and education to the less privileged in areas of the Philippines, especially in communities that are in need of computers,” says Blair Duncan, CEO of Imaginet International Inc.
About Expat’s Ladies Charities Inc.
Expats Ladies Charities started three years ago with its generic name, CDO Expat's Charity. Our first project was the Children's Christmas Party and Gift Giving in Landfill, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City with 200 children as beneficiaries. With the support that we got from the foreigners all over the country through my active participations in various Expats related forums of the country, we decided to register our group in the name of Expats' Ladies Charities with the vision of encouraging all the Filipina women in the Philippines married to foreigners to reach out to the very less of our Filipino brethren particularly the children. We also aim to inspire our husbands to be involved in all of our activities, thus telling the little community where we belong that the foreigners really care.
True to our slogan, “Crossing Cultures to Make Lives Better” we believe in a man’s capacity to feel good after doing what is good for a man regardless of his color. At times we also visit different places, especially places where an ELCI member used to live or wants to go back to her old neighborhood and share some of our programs and blessings.
