Twisted Root Burger Company Buys Former C-Store Fronting Bedford Meadows for New Location in Bedford, Texas

Fort Worth, TX, July 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- With seven Twisted Root Burger Company locations thriving throughout the metroplex, listing broker Roger Smeltzer of Vision Commercial has announced Twisted Root Burger Company’s acquisition of a property located at the southeast corner of Central and Harwood in Bedford, TX. The space, which has been vacant for several years, will soon feature one of DFW’s trendiest burger concepts. The restaurant is anticipated to open at 2820 Central Drive in February 2013.

“We opened our first Twisted Root location just six years ago, and I’ve been thrilled at how the DFW community has embraced our better burger concept,” said Jason Boso. “By expanding to Bedford, we’ll be sharing our chef‐driven menu and fun, casual atmosphere with lots of new customers, and I’m
confident they’ll like our burgers as much as we do.”

The Bedford location will be in front of Bedford Meadows, a 52,000 square foot strip center and continue to feature Twisted Root’s award‐winning burgers, fries, shakes and homemade condiments. The owners of Bedford Meadows (a Legacy Alliance Holdings property) partnered up with the city in redeveloping and repositioning the corner and surrounding center. The center has recently come out of major development and has already added over half a dozen new leases this year. “We are excited to have Twisted Root coming to our town and hope this will attract more restaurants and bars to this intersection, though we only have one pad and a few vacancies left,” Smeltzer commented.

In this transaction, the Seller was represented by Roger Smeltzer of Vision Commercial and the Buyer was represented by Carter Wilson of the Cambridge Companies.
