Power Assure, Inc., a provider of innovative power management solutions that significantly reduce data center energy costs, announced today that Alex Roosakos has joined its Board of Advisors.
Santa Clara, CA, June 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Alex Roosakos has agreed to join Power Assure’s board of advisors and brings over 15 years of experience within the information technology and data center markets and a proven track-record for generating rapid and sustainable revenue growth. Alex has proven to be an invaluable resource for Power Assure in the early planning phase by helping guide and refine existing managed and professional service (consultative) offerings and positioning for better business development and growth.
Alex has a broad background in business growth and development, helping businesses stay on target with their overall strategies. His most recent success was in being co-founder of Wireless Security Corporation, a venture backed company that was acquired by McAfee in June of 2005. Alex ran the business and IT operations, exceeding 99.9% uptime, while ensuring that all business growth objectives were completed on time and budget.
As CEO and founder, Alex’s information and technology consultation firm was recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as the 5th fastest growing privately held company in Silicon Valley in 1997, prior to being acquired by Cohesive Technology Solutions, and subsequently acquired by Exodus Communications. Alex grew the west region of Exodus Communications as Vice President to a business of several hundred employees producing over $25M in annual revenue while maintaining profitability and margin objectives.
Alex received his degree at California Polytechnic State University.
