Dawn Monroe Opens Up for Mr Cheeks on August 1st, 2012 at The Pyramid for Occupy Wednesdays
August 1, 2012 at 9pm at The Pyramid, 101 Avenue A (bet 6th and 7th st). Dawn Monroe will be opening for Mr Cheeks, performing her internet hit “DO IT” at the Pyramid. Mr Cheeks will be performing songs off his highly anticipated New album under his own label Mob Music/IMG/Universal Records. It will be a monumental night with Cheeks return to the Music business and Dawn’s introduction to the world and as the newest addition to the Mob Muzik Family.

Dawn was Born and Raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. She Displayed a love for music and performing from the tender age of 7. Her mother enrolled her and her sister in dance lessons, as well as singing lessons and piano this only fueled her inner passion for music more. Her early influences included the late Biggie smalls, foxy brown, jay-z and lil kim .She was introduced to legendary Bad Boy producer Tony Dofat who has produced for some of her favorite artist with whom she recorded a plethora of songs with. Throughout the years she has done a few high profile collabrations most notably with French Montana off his Live from Africa mixtape as well as Mr Cheeks and others. Dawn also went on to make cameo roles in commercials ranging from comedy central to mtv,and has been the face for countless hair ad campaigns. She is currently working on Her mixtape set to be released in the 4th quarter of 2012.
