MMI Public Relations Wins Two 2012 Videographer Awards
Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals Recognizes Local Triangle Public Relations Firm.

Additionally, MMI Public Relations received an Award of Distinction in the Special Events/Nonprofit category for its work with Passage Home (http://www.passagehome.org), a nonprofit agency fighting poverty and homelessness in Wake County. The project highlighted two women who participated in the agency’s programs after being incarcerated and how Passage Home has helped them overcome obstacles, reconnect with their families, and reach new levels of personal and professional growth. Additionally, the project included information on the agency’s Raleigh Safety and Community Club, which supports programs and activities developed by and for community residents in Southeast Raleigh. Specifically, the project focused on how the club supports poverty-stricken children in the Raleigh area through after-school programs, summer day camps, an educational program called Academic Steps To Success and more.
