Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan Hires Lindsey Rossow-Rood as Philanthropic Services Officer

As philanthropic services officer, Rossow-Rood will be responsible for fund development and donor relations.

Detroit, MI, August 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan named Lindsey Rossow-Rood as philanthropic services officer. In this position, she will be responsible for fund development and donor relations.

Rossow-Rood comes to the Community Foundation from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, where she had worked since 2005, first as development officer and most recently as director of development and alumni relations. For the latter, she successfully closed six- and seven-figure gifts to the school and also oversaw the school’s endowment and various gift accounts.

The Livonia resident previously held positions with the Women’s American ORT Michigan Region, Michigan Democratic Coordinated Campaign and (Sander) Levin for (U.S.) Congress.

Rossow-Rood holds bachelor’s (Community Development) and master’s degrees from Wayne State University.
