Keller Williams Westlake Village Plans Move to State-of-the Art Office Space
Keller Williams Westlake Village Plans Move to State-of-The Art Office Space off Lindero Canyon.
Westlake Village, CA, August 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- In response to the growing number of Realtors joining its agency and enormous changes in the business of real estate, Keller Williams Westlake Village is moving to a new state-of-the-art office off Lindero Canyon, near Costco in Westlake Village. The transition is expected to be completed by Labor Day.
The 14,000-square-foot office on Russell Ranch Road will include features rarely found in a real estate office, including an agent training room, a green room that will allow agents to produce professional videos to market their listings, as well as their businesses, and a lounge where agents can share ideas on how best to serve their clients.
“This is not your grandmother’s real estate office,” said Terry Moerler, owner of the Keller Williams Westlake Village franchise. “We see this as the new prototype for the future of real estate offices all over the country.”
While the exact moving date has not been determined, interest in the new office has already been building outside the Keller Williams family, according to Terri Arias, Team Leader & CEO of Keller Williams Westlake Village. “We know that this new office space will help real estate agents take their careers to the next level,” Arias said, “and we are offering to meet confidentially with established agents interested in what we have to offer.”
In planning the move, Moerler and her team, like the professional Realtorsâ they are, first considered, “location, location, location.” “We see Russell Ranch as a growing and vibrant area, convenient to the 101, hotels like the Four Seasons and the Marriott Courtyard, which attract people moving to this area for business, not to mention the restaurants and the shopping,” she said.
In addition, the relocation team considered the future of the real estate business, the kind of people who are attracted to a career in real estate and the impact technology has had on how people buy and sell their homes.
“I have spent so much time looking into the future,” Moerler said. "There are three kinds of people who will be attracted to our office: people coming out of the business world who perhaps lost their job and don’t know what to do with their talent, entrepreneurial kids right out of college and seasoned agents looking for an agency that will provide them with superior support systems."
“We need to create a environment that is suited to all types,” Moerler said.
Moerler, who has been in real estate for 33 years and has seen Keller Williams Westlake Village grow from 55 agents four years ago to 190 agents today, believes that the prototype office must provide career development services as well as a “think tank” atmosphere that will allow agents to collaborate on their businesses.
As a result, the agency has brought on a team of productivity coaches who will help newbie agents, as well as seasoned agents, build their business. The agent lounge will have a “Starbucks” atmosphere where colleagues can meet to exchange ideas about their business.
“This is an exciting time to launch a career in real estate,” Moerler said. “We want to make sure that agents joining our firm have everything they need to support their clients.”
