Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Welcomes New Hospice Physician
Marlton, NJ, August 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sara Pagliaro, DO of Moorestown has joined Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice as a hospice physician, announced Samaritan President/CEO Mary Ann Boccolini. Dr. Pagliaro, Samaritan’s fourth full-time hospice and palliative physician, joins a staff of more than 300.
“Dr. Pagliaro is a most welcome addition to Samaritan’s team of palliative care experts whose goal is to prevent suffering and support the best possible quality of life for patients and their caregivers,” said Boccolini. In addition to providing direct patient care, Dr. Pagliaro will oversee clinical interdisciplinary teams and serve as a liaison between Samaritan and the medical community, collaborating with patients' personal physicians to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.
Pagliaro, certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians, received her Doctorate of Osteopathy from the University of Medicine & Dentistry -School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. She’s currently an Assistant Professor in the school’s Department of Family Medicine, an attending physician at Kennedy Memorial Hospital – Stratford and the Medical Director of the Department of Family Medicine at University Doctors in Sewell.
