The PCIe is embedded with highly integrated Atheros Single-chip AR9462, allowing embedded system manufacturers with greater design flexibility.

SparkLAN WPEA-251N(BT) Wi-Fi Mini PCIe is based on Atheros reference design WB222. It supports 2T2R (2 x 2) MIMO technology, which delivers superior Wi-Fi performance up to 300Mbps. In addition, by supporting the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology, it helps to extend voice and data transfers between devices to a broader coverage area.

With Atheros Signal Sustain Technology-3 (SST3), WPEA-251N(BT) ensures better Wi-Fi connections across the entire WLAN link. This module also integrates Wake on Wireless LAN (WoW) and Wake on Bluetooth (WoBT) support. WPEA-251N(BT) is designed properly for any wireless enabled devices with Half Mini Card slot. It is suitable for Wi-Fi applications requiring robust Wi-Fi link and Bluetooth transmission.
