Construction Commences on Orchard Park Rehabilitation Center

Centennial, CO, August 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Douglas Company broke ground on yet another skilled nursing facility this summer. The Orchard Park Rehabilitation Center project is headed by the general contractor’s Orlando, Fla. office and is set for completion in April of 2013.

The construction project consists of a 29,400 square foot addition and 9,000 square feet of renovations to the existing facility and will consist of 36 new units and 30 remodeled units. The $6.5 million project owned by South Denver Healthcare Associates will feature a variety of amenities including two Therapy Pools, a Therapy Gym, a Bistro/Café, two interior courtyards with fountains and landscaping.

The project is complex with a variety of details, including drilled foundations, post tension slabs, wood framing, masonry, structural stud framing, structural steel, brick veneer and concrete tile roof with high end interior finishes, all situated on a very tight site.
