The Douglas Company Breaks Ground on Skilled Nursing Facility
Brighton Senior Care and Rehab Center Coming to Howell, Mich.
Howell, MI, August 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Toledo, Ohio based general contractor, The Douglas Company, recently began construction on a new skilled nursing facility in Howell, Mich.
Brighton Senior Care and Rehab Center will include approximately 55,000 square feet of new construction comprised of 72 residential rooms with 88 beds. The $8.8 million facility boasts amenities such as a Wellness Center for physical and occupational therapy, a spa and a coffee house.
“The amenities and high-end finishes of Brighton Senior Care will make it a convenient and beautiful place to live”, said Bruce Douglas, project coordinator for The Douglas Company.
The project, owned by Genoa Real Estate, LLC and designed by JW Design Architectural Studio has an anticipated completion date of spring 2013.
According to Joe Wronski of JW Design, “Baby boomers’ requirements are reshaping the future of the senior health care market, and we have designed this facility to address the new service requests of the aging population.”
When completed, the facility will fulfill the need for a higher level of senior care in Howell and the surrounding communities.
