Brooklyn Native-Young Entrepreneur, Scholar, Mentor and Now Author Releases Book
Brooklyn, NY, August 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- International Men’s Day Award winner Community Activist and Entrepreneur Keishorne Scott releases his book “L.I.F.E.” L.I.F.E. is an acronym for Love, Insecurities, Friends and Envy. The book also addresses Life, Family, and other relevant issues like bullying and self-esteem. His hope is to inspire and equip young people to overcome life's obstacles and gain confidence in who they are.
Mr. Scott dedicates this book for those who've ever lack confidence, self-esteem, and motivation. To everyone out there with poor self image and poor quality friend who aren’t there to see you through hardship and adversity, to the millions of people with insecurities and believe their not good enough to be successful, happy, or loved.
Cheryl Wills, News Anchor from NY 1 and author of Die Free: “A Heroic Family Tale" said, “There are many how-to books - but Keishorne latest work takes advice to another level. It’s real, soulful and doesn't talk above the reader - it talks to the reader.” In today's society we see a lack of motivation and inspiration. Everything from TV to the radio to even schools has a negative impact on our community and children.
Mr. Scott said “I wrote this book in thoughts of spreading a positive light to the world and helping young men and women everywhere to overcome some of life's pressing issues to be all they can be.”
Keishorne Scott is the Executive Director of the Be Positive Campaign, Inc and the One More Educated Black Man Foundation. He continues to positively impact youth in New York City with his positive message by using youth empowerment programs, workshops, mentoring and various academic activities. Mr. Scott shows no signs of slowing down.
There will be a book signing on Saturday August 25th, 2012 at South Oxford Space, 138 South Oxford Street (Between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street) Brooklyn, NY 11217 at 12:00pm. This book is also available now on amazon.com.
