Bedford Launches New Service for Owners of Commercial Real Estate

Bedford's ReCap℠ study will extend the value that Bedford brings to its commercial real estate, CPA, and tax advisor clients nationwide.
Bedford, NH, August 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Based on recently issued clarification from the Internal Revenue Service, taxpayers may now expense certain assets previously capitalized. A ReCap℠ study will provide the appropriate supporting documentation to assess the conditions whereby certain capitalized improvements could be expensed.
Additionally, the details contained in a ReCap℠ study will enable taxpayers to write down structural assets that no longer exist. The temporary regulations provide a two-year window of opportunity to conduct studies for assets placed in service in prior years, as far back as 2004, and apply to tax returns effective for tax years beginning in 2012.
