Architectural Firm Hires Appalachian State Graduate

In her position, DeContreras will coordinate interior material and finish selections for projects, maintain the firm’s Revit® database, and develop relationships with facilities managers for SfL+a Architects’ various projects.
DeContreras graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in interior design and a minor in general business from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C., where she was an interior design program ambassador for the school’s Department of Technology and Environmental Design. Prior to joining SfL+a Architects, she served as an intern with both the firm and with BJAC in Raleigh, N.C. A native of Apex, N.C., she resides in Fayetteville, where she is a member of the Fayetteville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce young professionals group.
