Orange County's First Golden Dine Out Kicks Off August 5
Local Restaurants Vie for 2012 Golden Foodie Award Nominations
Orange County, CA, August 05, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Golden Foodie Awards is pleased to announce the inaugural Golden Dine Out. The month long event launches August 5 and invites the foodie community to votefor their favorite food categories weekly online at GoldenFoodieAwards.com. The Golden Dine Out presents different categories of restaurants and cuisine for each week of voting in August.
The Golden Dine Out gives the public the opportunity to vote for their favorite chef driven and independent restaurants. At the end of each week of voting, the top three nominees in each category will be announced online to Golden Foodie Award members via email and on the Golden Foodie Awards Facebook page. It is free to become a member of the Golden Foodie Awards online at GoldenFoodieAwards.com.
The winners of each Golden Dine Out category will be announced at the 2012 Golden Foodie Awards red carpet ceremony on September 30 at the Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach. Winners will receive a custom solid pewter and gold covered Golden Foodie Award designed by Russell Mims of Figurehead Design, LLC. and manufactured by the company that makes the Golden Globe awards. Event attendees will have the opportunity to experience interactive culinary stations featuring an array of food and cocktails by more than 15 restaurants and premium brands to satisfy any discerning palate along with live music and entertainment. During the Awards ceremony, guests will enjoy specialty desserts and wine. Following the awards ceremony will be an after party including a DJ, cocktails, coffee bar and red carpet interview opportunities of nominees and winners. A limited amount of advance tickets are currently available for $150 online at GoldenFoodieAwards.com. Ticket prices will increase to $250 on August 11.
