Stand2Learn™ Hires Mack Westbrook as President to Forge New Texas-Based Company Forward to Fight Childhood Obesity

College Station, TX, August 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Under the umbrella of PositiveMotion, LLC, STAND2LEARN™ welcomes Mack Westbrook on board as the President of their revolutionary company to help fight childhood obesity. With his extensive management experience, Mack will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business and driving continued company growth and expansion. His results-oriented approach and ability to think strategically will play a pivotal role in extending STAND2LEARN’s track record of innovation, while helping it grow profitability.

Mack joins STAND2LEARN™ from Artco-Bell Corporation, where he was most recently Director of Engineering. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University.

Dr. Mark Benden, assistant professor at the EOH Department, School of Rural Public Health at the Texas A&M Health Science Center, is the master mind behind this unique design for the STAND2LEARN™ desk. We are a Texas-based company whose product was born from the classroom through various iterations based on teacher and student feedback. Dr. Benden started this project over 3 years ago in elementary schools as a concept to fight childhood obesity and increase student focus. The concept has since grown into the development of 2 US Patented desk versions to accommodate Kinder through adults, and has several Patent Pending products in the pipeline for school and office.
