Viva La Vino is a fun wine tasting event that will feature fascinating people, great networking, silent auction and gift basket bidding, tasty hors d’oeuvres. Italian cheeses, delightful deserts and of course, delicious wine!
Troy, MI, August 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Troy Rotary Prepares for a New Fundraiser to Benefit the Local Community.

During a time of economic downturn, it is inspiring to see the numbers of Troy area businesses offering to support the new event Viva La Vino presented by the Troy Rotary Foundation. Being held September 21st, 2012, this event will raise funds for the Troy Rotary Foundation’s many civic service projects and student scholarship programs.
Viva La Vino is a fun wine tasting event that will feature fascinating people, great networking, silent auction and gift basket bidding, tasty hors d’oeuvres. Italian cheeses, delightful deserts and of course, delicious wine!
The San Marino Club of Troy provides a regal location for the Viva La Vino event, with complimentary Valet parking, and a venue designed like a castle, guests of the event will feel like royalty from the moment they arrive at the event. Located in Troy at 1685 East Big Beaver Rd, the venue is easily accessible to I-75.
Attendees of the event will be able to sample 25 wines provided by Imperial Beverage, if they find a delicious wine that they want to purchase more of, there will be options for them to place orders for their individual bottles and cases. With a portion of the sale going to charity, the attendee can feel good that they are helping their local community.
Featured auction items include an elegant 14 K rose gold pendant with fancy blue agate stone surrounded with black and white diamonds on a 14K rose gold chain valued at $3,497 generously donated by Birmingham Jewelers located in Sterling Heights, Michigan and an Exclusive luxury vacation in beautiful St Martin. This beautiful Vacation Villa Joie De Vivre St. Martin is located on the French side with a pool and ocean view for up to six adults for an entire week of luxury.
Silent Auction and Gift Basket bidding will be plentiful, as donated items continue to pour in. Also in the silent auction are a flat screen TV, a target shooting experience day, artwork from top Detroit artists, restaurant dining and movie packages, health & beauty packages, and sports packages with signed memorabilia and tickets to both U of M football and Pistons basketball games.
“The Star String Quartet” chamber music ensemble provides a great backdrop for the evening’s festivities. One of the most dynamic and exciting chamber music ensembles in southeast Michigan, the quartet comes from different parts of the globe and bring their unique experience, individualities and cultural diversity to surprise their audiences with a twist of the unexpected, with Programs that include Chamber, Jazz, Orchestral, Pop and Choral music.
