Packey Webb Pairs with Road Runners Soccer Club for a Skills Challenge
Packey Webb Ford has joined with the Road Runners Soccer Club for a local soccer skills challenge competition in Downer's Grove on August 12.
Downer's Grove, IL, August 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Packey Webb Ford is excited to announce it has paired with Road Runners Soccer Club to bring its newest grassroots community program to kids and families. It’s called the Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge!
Started in July 2012, the Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge joined Ford dealerships with local youth soccer clubs/YMCAs/schools in skills challenges throughout the Great Lakes Region. Boys and girls, ages 8-13, will compete in a series of challenges designed to encourage teamwork, improve their soccer skills and most importantly, have fun! Participants will receive points based on their performance of the six different soccer skills (Toe Taps, Foundations, Juggling (right and left foot), Dribbling (right and left foot). The top-scorers, a boy and girl from each age group, will be awarded a trophy at the end of the event. All participants will receive a souvenir scorecard for their efforts as well as a two month iSoccer Plus membership. Local winners will be invited to participate in a Regional Finals event in late September or October to compete again for a trophy and other prizes (Regional Finals details will be forthcoming at a later date).
Packey Webb Ford will donate $500 to Road Runners Soccer Club that assists in executing a local challenge competition. The event date is August 12th, 2012:

In addition to the soccer challenges, Packey Webb Ford will be displaying the all-new 2013 Ford Escape in a dedicated vehicle display space during the entire soccer skills program and Dealer representatives will be on hand to answer consumer questions.. Parents/legal guardians of participants may enter for a chance to win a two-year lease of the 2013 Escape, Ford’s newest smart and green compact crossover vehicle.
