Grand Opening for New Fantasyland Announced at Walt Disney World, Reservations Available

The anticipation has been building as Disney Imagineers work behind the scenes to ready new attractions for Magic Kingdom guests. Recently, construction on New Fantasyland completed in the Storybook Circus area, which opened in July. Here, the classic Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride was reborn into a double-spinner attraction housed beyond a giant circus tent.

With the Storybook Circus now open, the Fantasyland expansion looks ahead to polish up even more Disney magic. The portion of the expansion opening on December 6th will include the worlds of two Disney movies, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid.

These princess tales will come alive through richly detailed rides, dining, shops and character greetings. Included in the opening attractions are the Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid ride, table service dining at the Be Our Guest restaurant, counter service food at Gaston’s Tavern, Character greetings at Enchanted Tales with Belle and Ariel’s Grotto, and shopping at Bonjour!
