Eurail Bonuses with Rail Europe
Eurail offers rail passes for travellers all around the world in cooperation with over 30 railway carriers in Europe. The various rail passes are only available for non-European residents.
Paris, France, August 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Eurail offers rail passes for travellers all around the world in cooperation with over 30 railway carriers in Europe. The various rail passes are only available for non-European residents who want to discover Europe by the most comfortable and stress free means of transport - the train.
All the rail passes are offered by Rail Europe, namely through its websites for the following markets and continents: Asia/Middle East, Africa, Australia and South America. Because Rail Europe wants to offer the best travel deals, new bonuses are negotiated all year long for Eurail pass holders.
This negotiation of course implies that some of the previous bonuses are phased out while new ones will come into play. This communiqué recaps all the last updates as of mid-July 2012.
The bonuses available with an Eurail Pass, which will be stopped are, firstly, the colour line services which are available in Denmark and Norway. Secondly there will be no more discounts on the following Minoan lines: Corfu<>Patras, Corfu<>Igoumenitsa and international lines from/to Venice (from/to Corfu, Patras and Igoumenitsa).
The reservation for the Lyon<>Chambery<>Turin bus is now compulsory. This was not the case before.
New bonuses available with an Eurail Pass include, in France; 20% discount at the Grévin Wax Museum in Paris and 20% discount at the France Miniature Parc in Elancourt, near Paris; in Greece, a new direct bus service between Patras and Athens (Eurail passes must cover Greece); and in the Netherlands, 20% discount at the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum (Rotterdam) and 15% discount at the "Hotel Amsterdam" in Amsterdam.
One interesting deal comprised in the Eurail pass is the TripButler special offer. Tripbutler offers unlimited Wi-Fi Internet connection and access throughout Europe for a fixed fee per day. Travellers just need to order their Wi-Fi device, and they can connect their laptops or smartphones or any other Wi-Fi compatible device anytime, anywhere. The good thing is that they don't have to pay for exorbitant roaming costs.
Eurail pass holder have a 10% discount until the 30th of September, 2012 to use Tripbutler.
