Summer Wyatt is Miss West Virginia 2007

Morgantown, WV, June 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Miss West Virginia Scholarship Organization announces Summer Wyatt as Miss West Virginia 2007. Miss Wyatt competed in the 2007 Miss West Virginia Scholarship Pageant as Miss Capitol City along with 23 other contestants from all over the state. The pageant was held on the beautiful campus of West Virginia University in the Creative Arts Center.

Summer is the 21 year old daughter of Barbara Blake of Princeton, WV and Randy Wyatt of Wilmington, NC. She is a senior at Concord University in Athens, WV and a 2004 graduate of Pikeview High School. Upon winning the title of Miss WV she will withdraw from school for her reigning year to travel the state to promote her platform, animal cruelty and human violence, speaking to students and adults in the WV school systems and various public appearances. She will also travel to Las Vegas, NV in January 2008 to compete in the Miss America Pageant.

All 24 contestants competed in interview, evening gown, swimsuit and talent. Summer’s talent was a vocal which she performed the James Brown song, ‘It’s a Man’s World.’
