Donation of PTSD Service Dogs with 2,500 “Likes” on Facebook

Sacramento, CA, August 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Alpha K9 will be providing a PTSD service dog to a person in need for every 2,500 “Likes” on Facebook. The People targeted to receiving the service animal is a child, Veteran, Law Enforcement or any first-responder. Alpha K9’s current program is designed to donate up to 5 Service Dogs a year. Their First Donated dog will be going to a person in the greater Sacramento area but the program is not confined to the city of Sacramento. When the Alpha K9 pages hits 2,500 likes they will announce the receiving party.

Alpha K9 is a Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The owner, Kevin Cameron, is a former Military Working Dog Trainer and a decorated combat veteran who served in the Balkans, Kosovo, Bosnia and Iraq. He started Alpha K9 to provide practical obedience and protection dog training with a desire to give back to the community. He has seen the impact of PTSD on families and this is his way of helping.

Alpha K9 Trainers will procure dogs from local Humane Societies, train them to meet ADA training standards and then randomly select individuals from the applications that they have collected via email to receive the Service Dogs.
