New EmbroidMe Ownership in Grand Rapids Michigan

Grand Rapids, MI, August 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- EmbroidMe, the world’s largest embroidery franchise, announces a new EmbroidMe store in Grand Rapids located at 6080 28th Street SE, under the ownership of local residents Amy and Ron Nelson.

Before becoming an EmbroidMe franchisee, Amy worked 10 years as flight attendant before taking time off to raise her children. She went back to work for the Forest Hills Schools food service and then for Farmers Insurance in the claims call center. Ron is in his 27th year with NAPA Auto Parts.

When their five children became increasingly involved in sports and activities, the Nelsons discovered a never-ending need for personalized items for their family, and for others. “It wasn’t convenient to run across town, and ordering online is hit or miss,” says Amy. “Our goal is to provide quality items, in a timely fashion at a fair price, with unparalleled service.”

The EmbroidMe in Grand Rapids opened on March 26. Store hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Currently, all set up costs are being waived until June 1.

With nearly 400 retail locations, EmbroidMe provides full-service, custom embroidery and screen-printing for apparel, as well as promotional products and gifts to both the private and commercial segments of the business community.
