XTool Computer Tracker Recovers Computer for University Student
XTool Mobile Security, Inc. a laptop security service provider announced today that its XTool® Laptop Tracker assisted the Scottsdale Police Department of Arizona, Domestic Violent Crimes Unit, in the recovery of a stolen laptop on Tuesday, June 26, 2007.
Scottsdale, AZ, June 27, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The stolen laptop had been installed with the XTool Laptop Tracker, a software based transmitter that once installed forces the laptop to send a signal via Internet or telephone connection. The software provided Detective Humiston of the Scottsdale Police Department, with all the necessary information to locate and recover the stolen laptop.
On June 10, 2007 at approximately 1:00 AM the owner of the laptop, a male student of a California University, states he was at his home walking some friends out to their car “...when a group of people came to my house and ran inside and proceeded to raid my house, break my windows and physically assault me... My laptop was stolen along with my Nintendo, watch, DVD and other possessions.”
