Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Nauheim is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at S.U.N.Y Stony Brook School of Medicine. In 1984, he completed an internship at The Long Island College Hospital and residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in 1988. Dr. Nauheim is active in research, lecturing and publishing papers on ophthalmology and is on the teaching faculty at North Shore University Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. He has presented at national and international institutions and meetings, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York Academy of Medicine. He has been published in prestigious peer reviewed journals such as the Archives of Ophthalmology.
