Hope International University Launches New Military Website
Highlighting their military friendly status and the benefits they offer military and veteran students, HIU now has an entire site dedicated to information on their academic and financial services for prospective military students.
Fullerton, CA, August 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- To better serve its growing military audience, Hope International University (HIU) has released a website geared exclusively to military students. Accessible from the main HIU website, the site contains information relevant to individuals with a military background including program information, military benefits at HIU, academic coaching for military students, and other resources.
“We are proud of the benefits and services we are able to offer to members of the military and veterans and we’re honored that so many of them make HIU their home,” Michael Mulryan, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, said. “Our new site will make it even easier for students to learn how they can earn their degree from Hope and take advantage of benefits like the Active Duty Tuition Discount and Post 9/11 and Montgomery GI Bills.”
The site contains 22 pages and serves as the initial main resource for prospective military students interested in programs at HIU.
Additionally, in recognition of HIU’s commitment to providing an excellent educational experience to servicemembers, the University has been again deemed a military friendly school by G.I. Jobs Military Friendly Schools ® and on its military and veteran College Matchmaker at www.MilitaryFriendlySchools.com. This distinction, which is only awarded to 15% of nearly 7000 schools nationwide, sets HIU apart and has been awarded to the University for the last 3 consecutive years.
To further show its commitment to military students, the University has also adopted the White House’s “Principles of Excellence” (POE). HIU is committed to not only meeting the standards set forth in the POE, but to exceed them. The Admissions and Financial Aid departments have been aggressively and proactively adopting new University standards to incorporate into their already successful approach which will support military personnel in achieving their academic goals.
