Hello Ontario Secures Record Deal with M.I.K.A. Records New Album and World Tour Announced
Jerrod Harlan, known better by his stage name “Hello Ontario” has confirmed a three Album record deal with M.I.K.A Records. “This will be Hello Ontario’s first studio produced album” - Eric Smith, Director of A&R/Manager.

Pittsburgh native; Jerrod Harlan, known better by his stage name “Hello Ontario” has confirmed a three Album record deal with M.I.K.A Records. “This will be Hello Ontario’s first studio produced album” - Eric Smith, Director of A&R/Manager. Hello Ontario’s self-titled album is expected to be release late fourth quarter of 2012. Upon receiving new details and confirmative dates; additional press releases will immediately be publically announced. The album will bring new age indie/electronic melodies that range from up-beat to slower ballets. Jerrod states; “I feel everyone will be surprised by the album as we are pushing the limits with hopes of great results”. “Hello Ontario” the album will complete the entire project at South Beach Recording Studio based in Miami, Florida. South Beach Studios is the home to an abundance of the greatest songs recorded by the likes of the industry’s most legendary superstars having recorded certified gold and platinum albums produced in this studio.
Jerrod matured quickly out from his former band as lead singer in October, 2010 to form his solo act in Pittsburgh P.A. that brought an edgy side of indie to the surface. Hello Ontario was influenced by the likes of artist such as HELLOGOODBYE, of Montreal and Tokyo Police Club. “With much positive reinforcement Hello Ontario was noticed in early 2012 by his now manager: Eric Smith and has been preparing to hit the studio to showcase his unique talent that is rare to find” - Eric Smith, Director of A & R.
Hello Ontario will begin touring shortly after the album is released. Harlan will embark on a 12-18 month tour, promoting Hello Ontario’s debut album. Details of the tour dates will be released as the tour is vamping up to hit the studio during the production of “Hello Ontario.” The entire team is working diligently to create a show that will leave fans left in awe at the end of the concert”. Hello Ontario is also scheduled to perform at specific "Armor Down World Peace Tour" events. Each stop of the tour has one night where the artists speak out against domestic abuse; these are the nights Hello Ontario will perform. The next night will be the night of the major concert where the chosen five M.I.K.A. artists perform along with guest appearances from major recording artist. Additional announcements will be released as dates for publicity appearances, articles, website appearances and special events are scheduled.
