Funds Raised Donated to Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care – Catherine McAuley MERCY Foundation Haiti Relief Effort
Practice Velocity clients have donated a total of $11,000 during two events hosted by Dr. David Stern at the 2012 Urgent Care Association of America Spring Conference in Las Vegas, NV to be donated to the Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care – Catherine McAuley MERCY Foundation Haiti Relief Effort.
Machesney Park, IL, August 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Practice Velocity clients have donated a total of $11,000 during two events hosted by Dr. David Stern at the 2012 Urgent Care Association of America Spring Conference in Las Vegas, NV to be donated to the Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care – Catherine McAuley MERCY Foundation Haiti Relief Effort.
The first event was at the Peter Lik Studio inside the Venetian Las Vegas. Dr. Stern is an avid collector of Lik’s work and chose to donate two works from his personal collection to be auctioned off. Dr. David and Deaunna Young produced the highest bid for the first piece and Mike and Carol Zelnik had the highest bid on the second.
The second event was Cirque du Velocity, an annual dinner party hosted by Practice Velocity at Spring UCAOA conferences, poolside at Cesars Palace Las Vegas. Eighty-five Party attendees chose to donate their $20 deposit, sometimes including additional funds, to the Haiti Relief efforts equaling $1,700. This resulted in a total donation of $11,000 towards the Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care – Catherine McAuley Foundation Haiti Relief effort.
