Thompson & Knight Attorney Named Chair of ABA Section of Taxation Real Estate Committee
Dallas, TX, June 29, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The international law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to congratulate Partner Kevin Thomason on being named Chair of the Real Estate Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Taxation. His term begins July 2007.
Thomason is a Partner in the Tax Practice Group in Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office. He provides advice and counseling on partnership, corporate, and real estate tax issues, with an emphasis on tenant-in-common syndications, master limited partnerships, and like-kind exchanges. Thomason has served on the Committee since 2000, serving as Vice Chair since 2003. Prior to that, he served as Chair of that Committee’s Subcommittee on Estate Planning for Real Estate and Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Subcommittee of the Partnerships and LLCs Committee of the ABA Section of Taxation.
