Daughter to an accomplished stonecutter and cameo designer, Liza found early inspiration from the stones her father brought home and began experimenting with jewelry design as a form of self-expression. As culture-curious kid in the ‘80s, she was especially drawn to raw materials. “I’ve always loved cultural jewelry – African jewelry, East Indian jewelry, I love to work with my hands.”
Liza started her business selling her designs on the streets of Los Angeles, and at the early age of 16 she officially began her own company. In April 2000 she opened her first retail location in Los Feliz, which she currently sells from today. Liza’s designs can be seen on actress/singer Blake Lively, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock and have been featured in several publications including In Style, US Weekly, and Lucky magazines.
