President Jim Estill Granted the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association’s Arp Award
Fort Worth, TX, August 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jim Estill, President and founder of Calloway’s Nursery, Inc., received the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association’s (TNLA) Arp Award on Aug. 16, 2012. The Arp Award is the highest honor granted by the industry association.
Estill received this award because he exemplified the TNLA’s ideas of innovation, service and highly ethical behavior in professional and personal endeavors. The TNLA has granted the award annually since 1942 by passing down a silver bowl to a nursery professional that makes outstanding contributions to the nursery and landscape industry.
Estill is chairman of the board of directors, president and chief executive officer of Calloway’s Nursery, Inc. Along with John Cosby and John Peters, Mr. Estill co-founded the Texas-based garden center in 1986. Estill is a Texas Master Certified Nursery Professional (TMCNP) and serves as chairman of the certification committee for the TNLA.
“I am truly honored and accept this recognition from the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association on behalf of everyone at Calloway’s and Cornelius that has worked so hard to make this company what it is today. I consider it a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated, professional group of individuals,” Estill commented.
