Florida Resident Wins Video Contest to Go on Mediterranean Cruise

Vancouver, Canada, August 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- After two rounds of public voting, Allison Friendly of Coral Springs, Florida was named the winner of Cruise Experts Travel’s “Send Me on the Norwegian Epic” YouTube Video Contest. The travel agency held the contest in February to give away a free cruise for two in the Mediterranean. Friendly and her mother are headed to Barcelona next month to embark on their 7-night cruise starting September 2.

“She is constantly doing something for everybody else and never puts herself first,” Friendly said of her mother. “It’s nice to be able to treat her to something for once.”

Contestants submitted a video showing why they want to go on the cruise. Submissions were posted on the agency’s website at EuropeCruiseExperts.com/EpicContest where the voting took place and the person whose video received the most “Likes” won the cruise vacation. Friendly’s video received over 13,000 votes.

Friendly’s prize is a cruise for two onboard the Norwegian Epic in a balcony stateroom, one night hotel accommodation in Barcelona with breakfast included, ground transportation to/from the destination airport and point of embarkation/debarkation, and roundtrip air to Barcelona from Miami.

Among the many activities onboard such as the rock climbing wall, aqua park and bowling, Friendly looks forward to watching the Blue Man Group perform.

“I hear there’s some really cool drumming in the show, which will be interesting, as a musician, to see,” said Friendly.
