Transplanted Trees by Big Trees Inc. Well Established in New Home
University Faculty Pleased with Tree Transplantation Project for Mercer Hall.
Snohomish, WA, August 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Big Trees Inc. (http://bigtreesupply.com/), a tree transplanting company and tree nursery servicing the Seattle area, recently completed a tree transplanting project for the Mercer Hall at University Of Washington. By recent report the trees are doing very well in their new location, according to an executive from the faculty who expressed their appreciation for the work Big Trees did on the project.
Big Trees assisted in the Mercer Hall construction project by transplanting several very large trees into the Mercer Hall area of the campus. Some of the trees were in the range of 30,000 to 40,000 pounds, measuring at 40’ tall. Other trees that were moved in measured 30’ wide and 20’ tall. Despite the difficulties and hazards involved with moving very large trees, the project went well and Big Trees Inc. recently heard the trees are flourishing in their new environment. Mercer Hall is a construction project underway that will be opening mid-2013.
Ross Latham, head of sales and marketing at Big Trees Inc, stated “It’s excellent to hear the trees are doing well. The University Of Washington asked for a pretty tall order when they called us, but we found it to be a challenge we could meet with all of our professional experience with the end result of the trees safely and successfully transplanted. We hope the trees will be admired by students and faculty alike for years to come.”
