Barbara C. Sias Inducted into Metropolitan Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Sias also has an impressive academic background with post-masters degree work in early childhood education from the University of New Mexico in 1983, master of arts in special education from New Mexico Highlands University in 1979, and a bachelor of arts in elementary and special education from the University of Albuquerque in 1976.
She is also affiliated with numerous organizations including the American Federation of Teachers, ISWE and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She serves on a committee to develop new individualized educational plans for Albuquerque Public Schools and on the stewardship committee for the Aquinas Newman Center. Ms. Sias is president of the Parent-Teacher Association at MacArthur Elementary School.
Ms. Sias has received numerous awards and honors, including being inducted into the United Who’s Who in 2004, receiving several awards including a 25-Year Service Award in 2001, Employee of the Month Award in 2000 and a 20-Year Service Award in 1996.
In her spare time she enjoys camping with her husband and son, swimming and reading.
