South African Wines, Music and Cuisine Showcased at the South African Food & Wine Festival
Twenty five of the finest wines to come out of the world-renown wine regions of Stellenbosch, Paarl & Robertson Valley, South Africa will be showcased at the 7th annual South African Food & Wine Festival, September 8th & 9th 2012 at Grayhaven Winery, Gum Spring, Virginia. The festival is a celebration of the culture, food, wine and music of South Africa.
Gum Spring, VA, August 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Twenty five of the finest wines to come out of the world-renown wine regions of Stellenbosch, Paarl & Robertson Valley, South Africa will be showcased at the 7th annual South African Food & Wine Festival, September 8th & 9th 2012 at Grayhaven Winery, Gum Spring, Virginia. The festival is a celebration of the culture, food, wine and music of South Africa. Visitors will taste a stellar line-up of wines from MAN Vintners, Wolftrap, Badenhorst, Kanonkop, Ken Forrester and others as well as Grayhaven’s own award-winning Virginia wines. A host of South African wine experts, including South African winemaker Francois Bezuidenhout of MAN Vintners, will be on site to answer questions. This unique festival also provides the rare opportunity to taste traditional South African dishes such as Boerewors and Biltong as well as South African themed deserts like Mango-PeriPeri and Amarula Gelatos. South African musicians and dancers will perform throughout the weekend. The festival is sponsored by South African Airways, who will be giving away two round trip tickets to South Africa at the event.
