Your Time Publishing’s Long Awaited Katrina Hurricane Release, Katrina: One Set of Footprints
New Orleans resident and author Paulette Jones’, Katrina: One Set of Footprints to release on August 29, 2012. Seven years after the Katrina Hurricane hit the shores of the Gulf and New Orleans, Paulette Jones has finally put the pieces together and can now testify how she witnessed the ordering of her steps.
New Orleans, LA, August 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On August 29th 2012 Paulette Jones will release her memoir, Katrina: One Set of Footprints, is not your ordinary memoir; there are proofs of the extraordinary or supernatural if you are so inclined to believe, events that brought this family though one of Americans most horrific natural and unnatural disasters. After celebrating the storm with their first Hurricane party, this rag tag group of nine children and adults found themselves sitting in three feet of water and nowhere to go.
Ready to retreat into the attic as the water rose, a chain of events began that could only be described as a modern day miracle. But it didn’t really start there; two years earlier Paulette had purchased her retirement home in New Orleans with plans of moving back home in 2006. Things began changing and so did her plans and in January 2005 she found herself living in New Orleans after a thirty year absence. This story is inspirational, and written to help the reader open their eyes to the miracles in their own lives.
This is Paulette Jones third book, HerStory: Revelations, a historical fiction captures the story of a family and their trials and tribulations; and Girls Day Out: The Adventure is a tween fiction celebrating the successful school year of the nieces, these are her first and second books respectively. She has also written an alphabet book featuring New Orleans street names and another children’s book to release in October 2012.
Paulette is available for speaking engagements, book readings, or signing. For more information contact Paulette at 504 606-9462 or wiggins56@live.com. Copies are available at www.yourtimepublishing.com, Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and other online bookstores.
