Ambassador James Jeffrey Joins Senior Officials to Discuss Next Steps for the Special Operations Community
Defense Strategies Institute will convene a SOF Symposium on October 30-31 in Washington, DC. The Symposium will feature senior level officials from USSOCOM, OSD, TSOC’s, Component Commands, as well as the officials involved in diplomatic and humanitarian mission leadership. The symposium also invites the defense industrial community as well as the academic community that work diligently to provide solutions for the US Government.
Washington, DC, August 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- DSI's SOF Symposium will hold a limited size symposium where SOF leadership from the Government, Industry, and Academic Communities will address the application of global special operations forces to most appropriately meet the Nation’s needs.
The symposium will focus on improving readiness through cohesive planning, training, doctrine, and policy that support the most appropriate and most effective use of special operations forces.
You can expect to hear from OSD and State Department policy makers, Functional and Geographic Combatant Command leadership, Force Providers and Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands, as well as intelligence and planning directorates involved in special operations.
The symposium will provide valuable information on efforts from the policy, intelligence, and operational communities on how future operations will be conducted and the capabilities necessary to function most effectively in the current and predicted future geopolitical landscapes.
