Medical device company Diabetes Sentry Products, Inc. has secured a new capital investment which will be used to start full production of its market leading, completely non-invasive hypoglycemia symptom detection device. The Diabetes Sentry™ is fully patented and has FDA approval as a class 3 medical device.

The Company’s product, called the Diabetes Sentry™, is worn like a wristwatch and is the only non-invasive device currently on the world market for the detection of hypoglycemia symptoms. The product sounds an audible alarm when symptoms are detected which can be critically important during periods of sleep where the life-threatening effects of hypoglycemia can easily go unnoticed. Its low cost, simplicity and ease of use make the Diabetes Sentry an ideal monitoring device for diabetics of all ages and conditions. The product forms an important part of the Company’s mission to dramatically improve the daily lives of diabetics.

Investors and funds raised in the new financing were not disclosed. Proceeds will be used to start full production and initiate sales and marketing efforts.
