The Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association (CT REIA) Announces September 2012 Seminar with Real Estate Expert Alan Cowgill
On September 10, 2012, the Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association (CT REIA) will be hosting its monthly meeting with Alan Cowgill. Attendees will learn how to acquire funding for investment properties.
West Hartford, CT, August 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association, or CT REIA, in association with Alan Cowgill, is announcing the CT REIA monthly real estate investing meeting on September 10, 2012. This meeting will take place from 5:45 pm to 9:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at 100 Berlin Road in Cromwell, CT.
At 5:45, attendees will have an opportunity to network with other Connecticut real estate professionals. At 6:00, there will be an early bird workshop. At this portion of the event, attendees can have their real estate deal analyzed by CT REIA experts. At 6:30 there will be a speed-networking portion of the event. At 7:00, members will announce their property deals. At 7:15, Alan Cowgill will begin his presentation. Attendees of this seminar will learn: how to get money to buy single-family houses, commercial buildings, apartment complexes, or luxury homes within 30 days; crucial 5 steps to success, so that investors can find all the private money they need - build credibility, generate leads, secure private lenders, buy/sell property, pay day; how to pre-screen prospects and the "magic" words to get them to commit; scripts to use when talking to people, their voicemails, and/or referrals; why these 4 commonly used types of financing can cripple a real estate business and how to stay away from them - bank, line of credit, hard money lender, creative financing; how to do all of this with no monthly payments; and much more.
Alan Cowgill started his career as a real estate investor in February of 1995 and has over 17 years of real estate experience. Five years ago he went full time as a real estate investor and for the last 4 1/2 years he has done his deals exclusively using private lenders. Alan typically buys 5 houses/month and has bought or sold over 200 properties. Alan is currently an author, a national speaker, and a private lending consultant. He's been featured in three newspaper articles about purchasing real estate through private lenders.
