Meritec welcomes Michael Cole as company President. Coming to Meritec from TE (Tyco Electronics), Mr. Cole brings a new way of thinking. With the recent addition of CEO, Ed Weinfurtner and the acquisitions of Mold-Tech and Connectors Unlimited, Inc., Meritec is on the move. Expanding their footprint both domestically and globally.
Painesville, OH, August 30, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Meritec, a manufacturer of high-performance electrical and electronic interconnect embedded systems, connectors and cable assemblies, is pleased to announce Michael Cole has joined The Company in the position of President. Cole, a senior executive in The Electronics’ Industry, most recently with TE Connectivity (Tyco Electronics) where he led their Data Communications business as Senior Vice President and General Manager.
Mr. Cole brings a depth of global experience where he held roles in business development, operations and sales. Before TE Connectivity, he worked at Molex Inc., Georgetown Cable and AMP Inc. Mr. Cole is one of the latest new appointments at Meritec along with CEO, Ed Weinfurtner. Mr. Cole noted he is "excited to join the Meritec Organization and work to position The Company for growth by expanding its innovative technologies in the high-speed interconnect arena.”
