Discount Cab Helps Prevent DUIs This Labor Day
Free Ride Back Program℠ promotes road safety and aims to improve DUI statistics

The program offers inebriated patrons of any restaurant or bar who call for a cab in the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas a free ride back to their cars the next day. In 2011, Arizona DUI statistics over Labor Day weekend were lower than this same time period in 2010, and Discount Cab hopes to aid in continuing this trend in 2012.
Labor Day weekend remains a prominent time of the year for high numbers of DUI arrests. Last year in Arizona there were 617 arrests made. Of the 617 DUI arrests over Labor Day weekend, 192 resulted in charges of extreme DUI because the drivers had blood alcohol levels at double or more than the legal limit.
Discount Cab has provided the Free Ride Back Program to the community for 15 years, at an average cost of $77,500 per year in free rides. · Passenger must ask for this service when first calling to order a Discount Cab.
· After passenger mentions the Free Ride Back Program, the customer service representative will provide a code to be used for the return cab ride the next day.
· This code must be used to redeem the Free Ride Back.
· Maximum use of the Free Ride Back Program is two times per month, per passenger.
· Passenger must be picked up from – and returned to – a bar or restaurant.
