It's Time to Take a New Look at Fleet Management
NAFA Fleet Management Association continues the Beyond Fleet campaign with radio ads running for the next month on WABC-AM in New York City. The ads coincide with a sponsorship of the 5th Annual Imus Ranch Golf Outing.
Princeton, NJ, August 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- When the Beyond Fleet campaign was announced last April, NAFA Fleet Management Association said it was designed to elevate the status of fleet managers. Following print ads placed in mainstream publications like BusinessWeek, NAFA's latest move is a bold step into the number one radio market in the country. For the next four weeks, listeners throughout the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut will be able to hear NAFA's latest ads for the Beyond Fleet campaign on WABC (770am). The ads alert business executives that "It's time to take a new look at fleet management."
The radio spots coincide with BeyondFleet.com's sponsorship of the 5th Annual Imus Ranch Golf Outing. This popular event raises money for the Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer. In 1999, radio host Don Imus and his wife founded the Imus Ranch, a working 4,000-acre cattle ranch near Ribera, New Mexico, for children with cancer as well as siblings of SIDS victims. The golf outing is promoted heavily throughout the day on WABC, one of the most popular radio stations in the area. Each time a promo for the golf event is aired, the BeyondFleet.com website is mentioned. More information on the golf outing is available at http://www.wabcradio.com/Article.asp?id=2492357.
"The Imus Ranch Golf Outing is an excellent venue for the Beyond Fleet campaign to reach powerful business executives," explained NAFA's Executive Director, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "With the event sponsorship, NAFA gets to reach our core target audience and help raise money for a good cause at the same time. It's truly a win-win situation!"
In addition to being mentioned during the event sponsorship ads, NAFA is also running 10 and 30 second commercials throughout the day on WABC for the next four weeks. The 10 second spot may be heard at http://www.nafa.org/wabc10 and the 30 second spot at http://www.nafa.org/wabc30.
"Our radio spots put fleet managers in front of the entire business world," added Russo. "With these latest radio spots we're proving that we plan to take our message to every market – even the biggest markets in the world – to elevate the status of fleet managers. We know how valuable you all are. It's time the rest of the business community knows."
