Online Marketplace Leads Voice-Over Industry Forward with New Innovation
New feature of online marketplace helps members complete audio projects more efficiently.
Toronto, Canada, September 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Voices.com, the online marketplace that connects voice-over talents with businesses, launched a new tool called VoiceMatch to streamline the way its customers collaborate on audio projects.
The introduction of this new feature helps both talents and clients fine-tune the auditioning process. In the past a client that needed a television or radio ad done in English with a North American accent would receive a huge number of audition responses. When projects with similarly common criteria were open to both male and female voice artists the client frequently received over 200 auditions.
To help talent stay positive when faced with a large number of submissions, VoiceMatch changed the way auditions are sorted for the client. Rather than listing them according to which was submitted first, VoiceMatch compares the content of a talent’s profile against the job posting and gives them a score out of 100. Auditions from talent with the highest VoiceMatch score appear at the top of the list. This means that talent can target jobs for which they are best suited without worrying about the timing of their response.
Beyond helping clients find the most compatible submissions more quickly, VoiceMatch also gives them control over how many auditions they receive. With the new Audition Response Estimator feature, clients get a real-time estimate of how many responses they will receive as they fill out fields on the job-posting form. The more defined their requirements, the less talent will match and thereby be invited to audition. The broader their requirements, the greater the number of responses they are projected to receive.
This proprietary new feature builds on the Canadian company’s record for leading innovation in their field. In 2003, Voices.com changed the way their whole industry operated by introducing The Voice Over Marketplace™. It enabled people to post a job and receive custom auditions based their specific project requirements. Similarly, Voice Search™ was developed as a search engine for businesses to find voice talents by keyword, gender, experience and union affiliation.
Combined with the company’s proprietary SurePay™ escrow system for payment and file delivery, these innovations allow Voices.com to offer a fast and affordable way for businesses to complete voice-over projects.
