In the arena of Sarbanes-Oxley, the 2011 Award was accorded to Anish Kumar Srivastava, Practice Head, Security & Privacy Services, IBM India Pvt. Ltd. The finalist in this category was Zabihollah Rezaee, Thompson-Hill Chair Excellence and Professor of Accountancy, University of Memphis.
In the category of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance, Dell's ERM Director, David Chavez received the 2011 GRC MVP Award. Recognized as a finalist in this arena was Michael Bargerhuff, the Governance Risk & Compliance Manager at Ultimate Software.
In the arena of Information Technology Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance, Thomas Paul Thompson, Sr., Information Technology Security Officer with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, was accorded the 2011 GRC MVP Award. The finalist in this category was Anindo Banerjea, V.P. of Engineering for MetricStream, Inc.
