Mass. School of Prof. Psych. Goes Live on New Student Information System

The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology implements Campus Cafe to integrate its operations.

Boston, MA, July 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- S.C.A.N. Business Systems, Inc announces that Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology has gone live on Campus Café, its flagship Student Information System.

“Our previous system had separate databases for each of our offices,” said Pat Capobianco, Vice President of Finance and Operations for MSPP. “With each department working within a single, related database we are now able to generate reports in a matter of minutes that would have previously taken weeks and involved significant vendor assistance. A project of this size is a lot of work, but with no surprises it is a very manageable process.”

MSPP has implemented Campus Café in Admissions, Registrar, Student Services, Advising, Business Office and Alumni/Development. Web Services have been rolled out to Student, Faculty and Advisors to offset the increased administrative demand during this phase of growth while the Admissions Portal for Inquiries and Applicants is scheduled for this summer.

“MSPP is a great example of the advantages of a Java based product,” adds Joe Stefaniak, President of S.C.A.N. “Not only were we able to deploy Campus Café in a single year, but we did so without the need for MSPP to add to their staff and we are now adding a custom Field Placement module in a fraction of the time it would take for competitive technologies.”
