Westfield Broward Mall Comes to Life with Forest of Angels

Plantation, FL, September 03, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Imagine a Winter Wonderland filled with a forest of Christmas Trees representing local businesses who have selected to compete for the title of Best Decorated Tree and earning a cash reward for their designated charity. This will be the scene at The Westfield Broward Mall from November 17- December 24, when Forest of Angels transforms the mall into a Christmas Forest where the patrons of the mall will be able to view the trees and vote for best decorated tree. The winning tree will earn $10,000 for their selected charity, the 2nd place tree will receive $2,500 for their designated charity, and the 3rd place tree will be rewarded $1,250 for their chosen charity. The remaining profits will be split amongst all the other charities. The charities that have joined the project so far include, Covenant House, The Pantry of Broward, Women In Distress, National Inclusion Project, Multiple Scelerosis Foundation, Tomorrow's Rainbow, Blessings in A Back Pack, Junior Achievement, Give Her A Voice, Food For The Poor, The Arithitis Foundation, The American Cancer Society Relay For Life, and Military Debt Management. Throughout the 5 weeks of Forest of Angels there will be several events such as Santa's Arrival with a parade on November 17 at The Westfield Broward Mall sponsored by The City of Plantation. On December 8, there will be a kids' day with activities such as Safara Adventures, face painting, clowns, and more. Every day will be an opportunity for mall visitors to participate in Forest of Angels and to give back to the community.
