Sentimentalist Magazine: Indie Music Magazine Takes on Interpol, Queens of the Stone Age and More in the Summer Issue 25

Sentimentalist Magazine Issue 25 hits newsstands worldwide July 9th.

New York, NY, July 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Sentimentalist Magazine Issue 25 hits newsstands worldwide July 9th. This issue is the most iconoclastic to date, going beyond past issues with more in-depth, inspiring profiles, stunning photos and layouts dedicated to the best bands in the world, alongside many of the brightest, international up-and-comers. Issue 25 features interviews with suave cover artists Interpol, as well as rock royalty like Queens of the Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Magic Numbers, the Long Blondes, the Cribs and many more. Fresh talent just beginning to generate intense heat, such as Chase Pagan, White Rabbits, Illinois, Digitalism and 1990s, are given more standout coverage than any other music mag on the shelves, with startling layouts so vivid they could be hung on a gallery wall.

Issue 25 also sees Sentimentalist Magazine expanding its content to include up-close and personal tour reports with solid bands like Cold War Kids and Placebo (both touring the U.S. this summer) and its newest section, "In the Studio", getting a behind-the-scenes report from the fiery Two Gallants and NY's Bellmer Dolls. The magazine's regular emerging bands "Now Hear This" section has taken on a newly-minted, highly visual look, all paired up with longer web exclusives on Sentimentalist Magazine's recently-relaunched site.

Not content to stop there, Plug Awards-nominated Sentimentalist Magazine has decided now's the right time to bring fashion between its covers once again, relaunching its fashion section in issue 25. Readers are invited into the style-savvy world of the designers and editors behind Refinery 29, a group which, like Sentimentalist Magazine, is using the keenest indie approach to reach taste-making readers and devotees of ahead-of-the-pack culture, in NYC and beyond.
